The crash took place in New Haven around 2:40 p.m., Monday, Sept. 20, on the Route 34 connector to I-95.
According to state police, Kareem Mohammad, of Guilford, was driving a Kawaski Ex 650 motorcycle when for unknown reasons he lost control, left the roadway, and struck the metal beam guardrail.
Mohammad was thrown from the motorcycle and landed on the roadway, state police said.
He was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital where he died from his injuries, state police said. Read More...
